By Toni Gonzales

Knights fans u-knight! The yearly Fan Fest has been scheduled so pull out your calendar, here’s what you need to know. Tell Siri to set a reminder for Thursday, September 16 from 5:30 p.m to 7:00 p.m. Set your navigation for the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. Then, tell the cash in your wallet to stay put, it’s free!

Get out your Knights gear, or buy new Knights gear, who are we to judge? Put your social pages on the ready to post pics of you with your favorite players, because you can meet various players from both the Vegas Golden Knights and the Henderson Silver Knights. The broadcast team from the Knights will be there with their commanding voices. You are likely to get your chance to meet Chance, the most famous gila monster in the Valley. C’mon, where else in the world will you get that opportunity?

The kids and the kid in you will get to check out games, trivia sessions with players on stage, and other family friendly stuff. The first 500 fans will get a free co-branded hat. Heads up though, you will need some money for food and drink. Or you can spend a little or a lot of money on team merch that will be available.

The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center is located at the corner of Third St. and Carson Ave. For more information on the event check out the Las Vegas Downtown Events Center Website.  Although it can accommodate 11,000 people, you may want to get there early.
