In April, there’s many upcoming events to get excited about including a rockabilly party, a talent showcase, a pirate shindig and a variety of speakeasy specials.

Rockin’ Bettie’s 10th Anniversary

DJs, retro cars and pop-up shops will be coming together to celebrate Rockin’ Bettie’s birthday. From piñatas to live bands, this modern day sock hop is one you won’t want to miss! If you love attending Viva Las Vegas (Rockabilly convention), this event is right up your alley.

When: April 24 at 3 p.m.

Where: 1302 S 3rd Street at Rockin’ Bettie

Cost: $10 cover charge




The Jam Open Mic and Show

Featuring local talent, The Space LV is hosting an artist showcase this month. Not only will there be jams, but also a 420 giveaway for presale tickets holders. Support Las Vegas creatives by securing your spot today.

When: April 23 at 8 p.m.

Where: 3460 Cavaretta Court at The Space LV

Cost: In-Person, $20, Livestream, $10




Pirate Festival

Dress as your best pirate, steampunk, faerie or renaissance cosplay for the Pirate Fest. Listen to the viral TikTok Sea Shanty, “The Wellerman,” as you get ready! This family-friendly event includes food, games, entertainment and a beer garden. To enter, you must bring an ID and use a credit card for purchases at the gate.

Where: 628 W. Craig Road at Craig Ranch Park

When: April 17 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and April 18 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Cost: $15

The Underground Speakeasy Specials

At the Mob Museum, The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement celebrates its third anniversary offering drink specials and live entertainment. Drinks available through April will be Giggle Water, Moonshine Tasting Flights and “El Colibri” moonshine cocktails (April 17 to 23).

Where: 300 Stewart Avenue at The Underground speakeasy in The Mob Museum

When: For the month of April, Sunday through Thursday from noon to 10 p.m. and noon to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

Cost: Giggle Water, $14, Moonshine Tasting Flight, $16, “El Colibri” cocktail, $10
