Jo Koy Among Comics Tapped for Wynn Las Vegas Summer Lineup

Six Comedians will join Trevor Noah at the Encore Theater this Summer

By Jason R. Latham

After a year of pandemic-induced separation, Wynn Las Vegas is betting that audiences could use a laugh.

The resort is counting on comedy to bolster its box office returns in the early months of Las Vegas’ 2021 comeback, with a packed summer calendar of comic headliners, including Sebastian Maniscalco, Demetri Martin, Nate Bargatze, Tom Papa, Jim Gaffigan, and Jo Koy. The six stars will join “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah on the Encore Theater schedule; Noah was originally tapped to perform in 2020, but those dates were rescheduled for July 9-10, 2021.

Maniscalco, a returning favorite at Encore Theater, will lead off the summer comedy lineup on Father’s Day weekend. Tickets to all shows can be purchased via the Wynn Las Vegas website.

Sebastian Maniscalco: Nobody Does This Tour – June 18-19; 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Trevor Noah: Loud and Clear – July 9-10; 8 p.m.

Demetri Martin: I Feel Funny Tour – July 16; 8 p.m.

Nate Bargatze: The Raincheck Tour – July 17; 8 p.m.

Tom Papa: Family Reunion Tour – August 6; 8 p.m.

Jim Gaffigan: The Fun Tour – August 7; 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Jo Koy: Just Kidding World Tour – August 13-14; 8 p.m.

The comedians join a still-growing 2021 lineup of Encore Theater entertainers, a list that includes the just-announced Lionel Richie “Back to Las Vegas” residency, which will be staged on select dates in September, October, and November, and the recent May 7 performance by Tony Award-winning Broadway star Lea Salonga.

At the same time, Wynn Las Vegas is loading up its nightlife roster, announcing the returns and debuts of several DJ headliners for its XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club. That list includes such familiar names as Diplo, Dillion Francis, The Chainsmokers, Meduza, David Guetta, Ross One, Gryffin, RL Grime, Kygo, Kat Nova, and Shaquille “DJ Diesel” O’Neal.
