JW Marriott Reopens Spa Aquae with a New Barbershop, Gentlemen’s Tonic

The luxuriant healing and wellness center is hosting a Spring-Ready Skin event on April 21

It can be healthy to unplug from the world from time to time to catch a break. JW Marriott’s Las Vegas knows this to be true. So the luxury resort has opened a new barbershop, Gentlemen’s Tonic. In fact, the timing couldn’t be better because they are also reopening their wellness center, Spa Aquae and Salon. Both venues are equipped to supply the perfect pick-me-up treatments to make even the most overworked person feel rejuvenated.

To celebrate their reopening, the 42,000 square foot spa and salon invites guests to attend their Spring-Ready Skin event on April 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event includes tours of the newly renovated spa, complimentary scientific skin readings plus lip and eye perk treatments. This is the perfect opportunity to escape the fast-paced world and immerse in a tranquil atmosphere off the Strip.

The resort’s spa will also unveil its latest treatment, HydraFacial. There are 12 spots available for guests to be the first to experience this new service on April 21. Guests who book their latest facial will be given a Home Care Kit valued at $160. The complimentary gift bag includes full size products from skin care brand HydroPeptide, Makeup Melt, Lip Service, Lip Lock Hydrator and spa headband. They will include the kit while supplies last.

HydraFacials are a newer kind of facial that’s become a trending treatment. It’s also a great way to combat the effects of Las Vegas’s arid climate known to dry out skin. Let’s talk about what exactly a HydraFacial entails.

What Is A HydraFacial?

Hydrafacial is a 25-minute treatment that uses an advanced technology to cleanse, extract and hydrate skin. Following the session, the skin specialist applies serums made with nourishing ingredients that deliver immediate results. The facial quickly renews and revives the client’s skin without needing to pencil in any social downtime to recover. For $150, guests experience a quick refresher to get their day started or recoup from a hectic week.

More About Gentlemen’s Tonic

Life is too short for boring hair, which is why beards need love, too. Near the men’s locker room, guests will discover Gentlemen’s Tonic. The high-end barbershop offers hot towel shaves, classic and trending haircuts and men’s color. The barbershop utilizes men’s products imported from London called Core Collection.

Among their men’s hair grooming services, two standout shaves are worth the hype:

The Mayfair Traditional Wet Shave utilizes Core Collection amenities to provide guests with soft, smooth and moisturized skin after a clean shave.

Take the ideal barbershop shave a step further and schedule The Luxury Wet Shave. This hot-towel shave levels up their signature service by including a combination of serums, masks and moisturizers to soften the skin. This service helps reduce the appearance of fine lines while leaving guests complexions with a refreshing glow.

Besides the facials and shaves, there are more options to choose from at their upgraded spa and salon.

On the first floor, guests will find the revamped salon, men’s and women’s locker rooms, sauna and steam rooms plus a Fitness Center. The gym includes free weights and cardio workout machines including Peloton stationary bikes. Another perk located on the first level is the hydrotherapy pool, which is slated to open in May and will be easily accessible through both locker rooms.

To further explore all the facility’s offerings, visit the second floor where guests go to unwind in their Relaxation Room. The second floor also has over 20 treatment rooms including four couple treatment rooms. With new flooring, wall coverings and decor, the space provides a calm place to take a breather.

Bring home a piece of the spa experience by indulging in a bit of retail therapy. The Spa’s shop carries Yon-Ka Paris phyto-aromatic skincare line, which is a high-quality beauty and wellness brand that has crafted popular products since 1954. This is the ultimate souvenir after a trip to the salon.

Between the luxury shaves and the hydrafacials, the multifaceted JW Marriott’s healing and wellness center is a desert oasis worth soaking in this spring.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to freshen up and grab a swag bag at this upcoming event. Book your HydraFacial before all the spots fill up. JW Marriott Las Vegas is located at 221 N Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145.
