Lady Gaga, System of a Down and More Vegas Happenings

The long wait for Lady Gaga’s return to Las Vegas ends tonight

At last, it’s fall fashion season, yet it’s still pool season. So dress warm (or dress with less) for
these steamy days and nights in Las Vegas.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14

EXPERIENCE: The long wait for Lady Gaga’s return to Las Vegas ends tonight as the star resumes her “Jazz and Piano” residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM (formerly Park Theater) on the Strip. Better hurry, she’ll wrap this run on October 31 and it’s not like you’re the only one who wants to see her. 8 p.m., $200-$4,000, ticketmaster.com

DANCE: Don’t want to end the night early? Head across the Strip to Hakkasan Nightclub for NGHTMRE. The DJ/producer is still riding a wave of good buzz from his summer hip-hop collabs “Scars” (with Yung Pinch) and “Mosh” (with Smokepurpp). Maybe he’ll play them. 10:30 p.m., $30-$125, hakkasangroup.com

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15

HEAR: The Golden Knights are away, so System of a Down will play T-Mobile Arena with KORN (!!) and Russian Circles on hand for support. Fun fact: System drummer John Dolmayan opened Torpedo Comics here in Vegas a few years back. 7:30 p.m., $49-$190, t-mobilearena.com

And if you’re trying to avoid the Strip, Eagles legend Don Felder is playing Green Valley Ranch Grand Events Center in Henderson. Tickets are in short supply. 8 p.m., $49-$59, ticketmaster.com

WATCH: Smith Center for the Performing Arts is back, so make some memories with Broadway classic Cats. 7:30 p.m., $30-$138, thesmithcenter.com

EXPERIENCE: Bring the family to Henderson’s Water Street Plaza for Disney & Pixar’s Coco Live In Concert conducted by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra. The performance will feature a screening of the film on a 42-foot-wide digital screen. 8 p.m., Free, cityofhenderson.com

And over at Downtown Summerlin, the Parade of Mischief will put you in the Halloween spirit. 7 p.m., free, summerlin.com

DANCE: If you’ve read all of our reasons to spend a Friday night at Resorts World’s Zouk Nightclub, then you probably already have your tickets for Zedd. 10:30 p.m., $30-$100, zoukgrouplv.com

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16

SWIM: Make it a quick turnaround at Resorts World and get in the water for DJ Snake and Charly Jordan at Ayu Dayclub. 11 a.m., $30-$100, zoukgrouplv.com

HEAR: It’s a buffet of hip-hop on and around the Strip Saturday night. You could meet your friends at Orleans Arena for Nightmare on Q Street feat. Legends of Hip Hop starring Ice Cube, Warren G, XZIBIT, N2DEEP, Sugar Hill Gang and more special guests. That’s gonna be a good show. 7 p.m., $44-$139, ticketmaster.com

Or, you can join J. Cole for The Off-Season Tour at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Mr. Cole will have 21 Savage, Morray, and Druski on hand for the festivities. 8 p.m., $60-$1,195, axs.com

And if that’s not enough for you, Yo Gotti is putting on a show at Drai’s Nightclub on top of The Cromwell. 10:30 p.m., $40-$60, draisgroup.com

If you prefer music of another sort, Bad Religion and Alkaline Trio are headlining at Brooklyn Bowl, with Baltimore punk outfit War on Women also on the bill. 7 p.m., $38, brooklynbowl.com

DANCE: If you’ve been waiting for your chance to get a picture of The Chainsmokers behind the decks at XS Nightclub, this is your night. 10:30 p.m., $75-$200, wynnsocial.com

Sunday, October 17

SWEAT: It’s been a long weekend, and you need to get in the right mental state for the workweek ahead. Grab a mat and get your workout on with a free Barre 3 on the Green fitness class at The District at Green Valley Ranch. 10 a.m., Free, shopthedistrictgvr.com

SWIM: Or, you could blow off the exercise and get your football fix at Marquee Dayclub’s Full Bloom Sunday party. This week, EDX provides the music while your favorite teams provide the highlights. 11 a.m., $20-$30, marqueelv.taogroup.com

HEAR: And there’s no reason you can’t party on a Sunday night, so get back out there and rock your socks off with Mr. William Idol at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. 7 p.m., $39-$504, cosmopolitanlasvegas.com
