5 Super Spots to Celebrate National Nacho Day in Las Vegas

Celebrate National Nacho Day at these Las Vegas locations on November 6

National Nacho Day is fast approaching, as restaurants across Las Vegas prepare for the snack-focused celebration on Saturday, November 6.

While the humble nacho essentially started as tortilla chips with cheese, it has blossomed into a versatile vessel for an abundance of delicious toppings and variations.

With the plethora of culinary options available in Sin City, it is no surprise that several local establishments are doing their own spin on National Nacho Day.

Here are some of the best places to visit while celebrating a day of guac-filled indulgence.

Cheddar is Better at PT’s Taverns

With over 50 locations in the Vegas area, you are never too far from a PT’s property.

Select PT’s Taverns throughout the Las Vegas Valley will ring in National Nacho Day by offering half orders of their classic nachos for $6, all day long.

All PT’s Taverns are open 24 hours daily, meaning you can take advantage of this deal at any point throughout your Saturday.

The classic nachos feature a base of crispy tortilla chips, loaded with pepper jack and cheddar cheeses, beef and bean chilli, pickled jalapenos, onion, bell peppers, olives, sour cream, cheese sauce, and salsa.

Sounds like a great way to crush some cravings.

Sip on a free modelo at el luchador

A refreshing Mexican beer and a plate of tasty nachos is a match-made in foodie heaven.

For National Nacho Day, El Luchador Mexican Kitchen and Cantina is offering a free Modelo with the purchase of their Ultimate Nachos, Nachos Libre, or Nachos Ala Guero.

The Nachos Libre from El Luchador

Here are the toppings for all three variations:

Ultimate Nachos – Pollo rojo, carnitas mandarin, adobo beef, elote, pickled serrano chiles, chorizo beans, cotija cheese

Nachos Libre – Adobo beef, ranchero beans, shaved jalapeno, pickled onion, cotija cheese, crema

Nachos Ala Guero – Queso sauce, ground beef, bean puree, tomato, sour cream, guacamole

Regardless of which option you choose between the triumvirate of tortilla chips, your tastebuds can rest easy, knowing a cold Modelo will be by your side to wash it down.

Bringing the Heat at pancho’s Mexican restaurant

Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant, located in Downtown Summerlin, is spicing things up with their limited-edition Nacho Day offering.

The Diablo Shrimp Nachos will be available for the celebration, priced at $17.95 for lunch and $19.95 for dinner.

This culinary creation features diablo marinated shrimp served on toasted corn tostaditas, layered with refried beans, cheddar and jack cheeses, and topped with diced tomatoes, jalapenos, sour cream, guacamole, and spicy diablo sauce drizzle.

Nacho Flights return at nacho daddy

You just knew Nacho Daddy had something in store for this year’s nacho-focused festivities.

All of their Las Vegas locations are bringing back the famous ‘Nacho Flights’ for a one-day only, nacho extravaganza. You have the choice between “North of the Border” and “South of the Border” flights, which feature a regional variety of chip-topping accoutrements.

North of the Border

Nacho Average Burger Nacho – Seasoned ground beef, applewood-smoked bacon, yellow queso, red onions, tomatoes, and shredded lettuce on top of house-made corn chips

BBQ Chicken Nacho – Tender chicken bread, house-made BBQ sauce and white queso topped with black bean corn salsa and cilantro on house-made corn chips

Both versions of Nacho Flights from Nacho Daddy for National Nacho Day.

South of the Border

Enchilada Nacho – Tender chicken breast, cheese blend, red or green enchilada sauce, refried beans, jalapenos, sour cream and avocado lime salsita served on house-made corn chips

For those parched patrons in need of a beverage, the Vino-Rita – Nacho Daddy’s Margarita of the Month – is a perfect drink to pair with your nacho day flight.

Vegan Nachos at el dorado cantina

All three of the El Dorado Cantina locations across Vegas – including their newest spot in Spring Valley – have a nacho day option for the vegan eater.

They top their house tortilla chips with vegan cheese, black beans, pico de gallo, vegan sour cream, and Beyond Meat for a delicious plate devoid of animal products.

There are also non-vegan nachos loaded with Oaxaca and Monterey Jack cheeses topped with your choice of protein (the carnitas are especially delicious).
