Join Us for Two Days of Learning & Community Engagement! Tuesday, April 28th - Find out how Southern Nevada can improve the lives of children with presentations from children's mental health experts. Presentation Topics include: Early Childhood Mental Health Attachment Disorders Family Engagement Suicide Prevention* Youth Panel * Qualifies for 2 hour mandatory suicide prevention CEUs. Wednesday, April 29th -Participate in a full day training on the Child & Adolescent Needs and Strengths assessment tool. The Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) is a multi-purpose tool developed for childrens services to support decision making, including level of care and service planning, to facilitate quality improvement initiatives, and to allow for the monitoring of outcomes of services. Versions of the CANS are currently used in 50 states in child welfare, mental health, juvenile justice, and early intervention applications. Lunch will be provided & CEUs will be available!
