Peter Facinelli - The Twilight Saga / Actor

Peter Facinelli (born November 26, 1973) is an American actor and producer. He starred as Donovan "Van" Ray on the Fox series Fastlane from 2002 to 2003. He played Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the film adaptations of the Twilight novel series, and is also known for his role as Mike Dexter in the 1998 film Can't Hardly Wait. Facinelli was a regular on the Showtime comedy-drama series Nurse Jackie, portraying the role of Dr. Fitch "Coop" Cooper. He portrayed Maxwell Lord on the first season of the TV series Supergirl.

 

What's your favorite activity off the strip?

I would say Red Rock Canyon. I love going to Red Rock Canyon. It's beautiful. If you like outdoors, they have great trails, you get to lose yourself or find yourself in the desert, that's always fun. Then there's a pinball place, I wrote it down. The Pinball Hall of Fame. This is a great place if you like vintage games or vintage pinball machines. I have a pinball machine in my house, so I love pinball. If you like those types of games and you love vintage video games, definitely check that place out. It's like you turned 12 years old again in there. Those are my favorite off the Strip places. 

 

What's your favorite activity on the strip?

Cirque du Soleil is one of my favorite shows to go to when I go to Vegas. What they do, taking the human bodies to the extreme is incredible. There's not a Cirque du Soleil show that I've gone to that I haven't been mesmerized and inspired, and so definitely check that out. Then I usually top it off with a night of gambling. I love blackjack poker, I can play slot machines sometimes. Where do I play? I usually go to either Hard Rock Hotel or Wynn Casino or MGM Grand, but you really can't go wrong in Vegas, all the casinos are fantastic, but those are my top three.

 

What's your favorite Vegas restaurant?

The Wynn Hotel has an amazing restaurant. I don't remember the name of it, but it's incredible and they have amazing seafood. I think they actually fly their fish out fresh from all over the world. I had a really nice meal there. HEXX Chocolate also is a great restaurant if you like chocolate, like me.

They asked me for my funny Vegas story that I'd like to share with you, but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, so I can't tell you.
