What's your favorite activity off the strip?
I love going to Downtown Summerlin and doing their completely free community yoga. Yes, I practice yoga and there's a free yoga class at Downtown Summerlin on the lawn, sunset going, really nice environment, nice atmosphere. Just love doing that.
What's your favorite activity on the strip?
I like going to The LINQ Promenade, just going down there looking at the different shopping, there is restaurants there and I like going to one store in particular called 12 AM Run.
What's your favorite Vegas restaurant?
That would have to be in the Arts District, a place called Cornish Pasty. It's a place where you can get anything baked into these pastries, I guess, and there's lots of things you can get. You can get, basically, a Big Mac in there, you can get a Thanksgiving dinner, I've gotten pizza once. There's so many different flavors and I highly recommend it, it's really cool.
What's your favorite Vegas business?
R.E.D., Rehabilitate and Exercise Dogs, that's owned by a Las Vegas local, his name's Robert Benavente. He's a great guy, great business, all without training, rehabilitating dogs and he works with non-profits. Just an amazing guy, amazing training philosophy and he gets really good results with dogs. If you have a dog in need of training, check his business out.
Do you have a funny Vegas story you can share?
I think the best story I can tell is just playing professional soccer in Las Vegas and the crazy atmosphere, having llamas as our unofficial mascot. Taking our team photo in the Neon Lights Museum, the Neon Lights bone yard, that was a really cool experience. Just overall, yes, the craziness that is Las Vegas and being able to experience that as a professional athlete on the field performing for fans, lots of fun.
